Sorry, Sam, but it does rise.
Consider the big picture:
-Rutgers still wins the Big East and goes to a BCS bowl if they win out.
-Rutgers is going to rebound like "whoa" on Syracuse and will be more than ready for West Virginia.
-Even if Rutgers blows the last two (they shouldn't and I hope not, humor me here), they still finish 9-3. That is a solid record. That guarantees them a better bowl than the Insight Bowl. That is still a sign that Rutgers is now a team of quality.
-They still beat Louisville.
Yes, that game was hard to watch and 10 kinds of bad, but there's no time machines. It's best to move on and, of course, keep chopping.
